Chip Malafronte covers Yale and Quinnipiac for the New Haven Register, so he's got his finger pretty firmly on the pulse of college hockey in the Nutmeg State. And given that he gets the opportunity to watch one of the highest rated teams in the nation, he's also a pretty lucky guy. We'll go in depth with Chip about the RPI-Yale grudge match and get his thoughts on a matchup between the #2 Bulldogs and the team they couldn't beat last season, and see if anything's changed.
We'll be going live this afternoon at 4:30pm to talk about tomorrow's big matchup at Ingalls, as well as the tough game in Providence against Brown the following afternoon. Since Yale-Union is also a battle of two nationally ranked teams (and on national TV on Sunday afternoon, ESPNU), we might get to that one as well.
Also on tap this afternoon, we'll recap the weekend that was in Syracuse for the women as they finished up their non-conference schedule with a win and a tie over the Orange, and we'll preview the Union Dutchwomen, as the Engineers face their travel partners in a home-and-home, starting in Schenectady tomorrow night.

Last week, I ventured into the podcast on my own thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday. I talked a little about the RPI Holiday Tournament, which the Engineers ultimately won in thrilling fashion. You can listen on demand using the player below until today's podcast runs, and then it'll feature today's podcast.
